In the time it takes you to read this job description, we would have successfully transported our customers to business meetings, airports and out to the local shops around London and the wider area. 

RoadRunners is one of the leading Licensed Private Hire Companies with our Head Office and Operations Centre situated in West Croydon. We offer a complete range of passenger car services for individuals, groups and corporate clients. In addition, we also provide a full range of courier service solutions.

What do we require you to do?

As a Contact Centre Agent, you’ll be at the front line of our business assisting our customers with booking their transport requirements and helping them with any queries. If you are passionate about customer service and delivering an exceptional customer experience this is the role for you. 

You’ll do your best to meet the customer’s need and will have the training, skills and experience to deal effectively with the majority of things. Once you join the company, you will be appointed a personal mentor who will be responsible for ensuring you settle in well and are fully trained and confident in the role.

What you need to join us...


To be a success, you’ll need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and above all, you’ll be happy to pitch in and help others. 

Due to the nature of the work, you will also need a good command of the English Language, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate with good keyboard skills and have previous call centre and/or customer service experience. 

Advantages would include experience in the Private Hire Industry or similar booking experience, working knowledge of the Cordic despatch system and a reasonable topographical knowledge of Croydon and the wider London area.
